RPM FEST 2018 BAND INFO

Congrats!  You’ve been selected to play RPM Fest 2018.  Please have all of your band members read the following information, rules, and guidelines we’ve set for our bands.

Each year, we have over 500 bands apply to play RPM Fest and we have the daunting task of narrowing that list down to some number around 50.  If we choose you to play the festival, it's not by happenstance - we're very methodical and selective in our booking process. We've seen something in you that makes you stand out from the crowd, and we're excited to have you on board.  We select bands that we hope will share that same excitement and dedication to making this event a success and to fostering a heavy music community throughout New England and beyond.

Also, we highly recommend that you stick around for the entire fest weekend!  Every year we have hundreds of people hanging out all night, camping, watching movies, drinking, playing wiffle ball and other games.  If you haven’t experienced RPM Fest before, you don't know what you're missing.

Once you have read all of the below information, please submit your band info, graphics, and (optional) compilation track through our Band Confirmation Form linked at the bottom of this page to confirm your band’s participation in RPM Fest.

    GEAR AND BACKLINE

    GEAR TO BRING

    • Drummers: stands, hardware, throne, cymbals, snare, pedals, sticks.  We will have a limited amount of backline cymbal stands available to use, stored backstage at the Ginger Libation stage.
    • Bassists and Guitarists: amp, pedals, instrument cables, speaker cables, guitars
    • Please pre-set as much of your gear as possible (cymbals on stands, pedal boards assembled, etc.) in the backstage tent before moving it onto the stage.
    • You are welcome to use your own drum shells and cabs instead of backline gear, but if this causes any delays to the start of your performance, please be aware that your set will end as scheduled regardless of when you actually start playing.
    • Merch: We will have a 20' x 30' band merch tent, but space will be prioritized for bands playing that day.  If you want to vend on days other than the one you are playing, bring a table and a 10'x10' pop-up tent and we will give you a space.
    • After Hours stage: We have a small stage with a genrator available in the camping area for open mic-style jams, acoustic sets, quiet DJ sets, etc.  No set schedule, just show up and play.  No full drum kits or loud instruments please, but feel free to bring acoustic guitars, hand percussion, small combo amps, iPods, etc.

Please note your stage in the Band Schedule above.
