"WHAT IS RPM FEST?"
RPM Fest is a 3-day heavy music and camping party held in Western Massachusetts. Read the rest of our story.
"WHERE IS THIS BEING HELD?"
"WHEN IS THIS YEAR'S FESTIVAL?"
Labor Day Weekend – September 4th-6th, 2020.
"WHAT BANDS ARE PLAYING?"
2020 Bands are TBA.
"HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS? WHEN ARE THEY AVAILABLE?"
Tickets will be on sale Spring 2020, although we may have special Early Bird deals before then. Stay tuned.
"WHEN WILL I GET MY TICKET?"
Tickets are will-call which means you pick them up them at the festival. You will receive a wristband at the gate. Keep your wristband on for the entire festival.
"HOW MUCH IS PARKING?"
Parking is $10 cash at the gate. We will also have VIP Parking available for an additional fee which allows you to park inside the festival grounds AND allows you to camp inside your vehicle (RV, van, camper, truck, etc.).
"IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED?"
Re-entry is allowed as long as you keep your wristband intact.
"IS RPM FEST ALL-AGES? WHAT ARE THE AGE LIMITS?"
RPM Fest is all-ages. Anyone camping overnight under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
CAMPING / FOOD / DRINK
"CAN WE CAMP OVERNIGHT AT RPM FEST?"
Yes, tent camping is free of charge for non-vehicle campers and highly encouraged. If you have a single day ticket, you can camp overnight but you must clear the site by 11 AM the following day.
"ARE THERE RESERVED SPOTS FOR CAMPING?"
No reserved spots for tent camping – we have plenty of cleared space in the woods for tent campers. RVs and trailers in VIP Parking will have reserved spots.
“CAN I PARK MY VEHICLE NEXT TO MY CAMP SITE?”
No. All tent campers must park in the festival parking lot. There is a tent camper drop-off loop where tent campers can drop off camping equipment and supplies. After drop-off all tent camper’s vehicles must park in the festival parking lot.
“CAN I CAMP IN MY VEHICLE?”
The VIP Parking area is designated for vehicle camping, Those camping in cars, RVs, vans, trailer campers, etc. must purchase a VIP Parking Pass for their vehicle. No power/water hook ups are available.
"WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE AT RPM FEST?"
We usually have barbecue, grilled foods, pizza, and plenty of other options. We also will have a local coffee vendor.
"CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND GRILL?"
Yes, you can bring your own food, but we ask that you please support our local food vendors. No charcoal grills will be allowed. Small camping style propane grills are fine.
"ARE BONFIRES ALLOWED?"
No, but we will have a community bonfire on site. If we catch you with your own fire, you will be asked to extinguish it. If we catch you a second time you will be asked to leave the festival.
"CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL?"
No. The Rod and Gun club has a full liquor license, and alcoholic beverages can purchased on site for extremely reasonable prices - typically $4 to $5 per pour. We have ongoing partnerships with a bunch of awesome local craft breweries to provide a wide selection for our attendees.
All coolers will be searched at the main gate, and any outside alcohol will be removed, labeled with your name, stored, and returned to you when you leave the festival.
“WHAT ACTIVITIES HAPPEN AT RPM FEST?”
Past years have included wiffle ball, cornhole, bear pong (beer pong with dodgeballs and trash barrels), movies and video games on our giant projection screen, metal karaoke, tabletop board and card games, podcasts, and anything else our attendees come up with.
"IS RPM FEST PET FRIENDLY?"
No. We all love animals, but please leave your pets at home.
"ARE THERE QUIET HOURS AT THE CAMPSITES?"
We ask that our campers keep noise down after 11 PM, but let’s be real – the party usually goes until the wee hours of the morning. Don’t be obnoxious to your fellow campers, but also don’t expect silence and peaceful sleep if you set up your tent around a ton of other people.
"IS THERE A RAIN DATE?"
RPM Fest is rain or shine. In the event of thunderstorms we might be forced to delay set times or cancel sets. We apologize in advance, but safety is a priority. Thanks for your understanding on this.
"WHERE CAN I GET RPM FEST MERCHANDISE?"
Merchandise is available through our online store here at rpmfest.org. Items include T-Shirts, Koozies, Pint Glasses, Stickers, Posters and more. Merchandise will also be available to purchase at the RPM Merch Tent at the festival.
"WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY MERCHANDISE ORDERED ONLINE?"
Pre-ordered merchandise will be picked up at the RPM Merch Tent at the festival. Please bring an ID so we can verify your identity.
"WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND THE FEST?"
You can arrange to pick up your merch at any Promotorhead Entertainment show following the festival.
“HOW CAN I HELP OUT AT RPM FEST?”
We are always looking for volunteers to help out in a number of positions, including our Street Team, setup and teardown, audio, video, security and groundskeeping, merchandise, info and first aid, and more. All volunteers are eligible for discounted or free admission, merch credit, food, and drink tickets. Please visit rpmfest.org/volunteers to apply!
Note that if you volunteered last year (or before) we ask that you resubmit an application again this year.
“HOW CAN MY BUSINESS/GROUP/ORGANIZATION GET INVOLVED WITH RPM FEST?”
We have a number of sponsorship, vending, and advertising opportunities for local businesses, groups, and organizations to get involved with RPM Fest! “ARE THERE ANY OTHER RULES OR GUIDELINES?”
Tents must be secured to the ground when left unattended.
No weapons, incendiaries, fireworks or generators.
Respect the neighborhood and neighbors, drive slowly coming and going, and be quiet when leaving at night.
Respect the property, grounds, equipment, staff, volunteers, bands, vendors, and attendees.
No doing anything that might harm, harass, or intimidate any other person at the festival.
RPM Fest reserves the right to eject anyone for any reason deemed necessary by our staff, security, or volunteers.
RPM Fest and our partners are not responsible for loss/theft of or damage to your personal belongings.
